IT Mission Kerala built the Nammude Keralam app as a free application. This SERVICE is provided by IT Mission Kerala at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone choosing to use our Service.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions for Nammude Keralam, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

• Authentication details through Mobile OTP or JanParichay

• Address or basic demographic details (as required for specific services)

This information is collected only when necessary and is used to deliver government services through the app.

Sensitive information, if required for a specific service, is not stored by Nammude Keralam. Such information is securely transmitted to the respective government department systems through authorized APIs strictly for service delivery.

Location Information

The app may collect location information only when the user performs a specific action that requires location access for service fulfillment. Location data is used strictly for the intended purpose and is not continuously tracked or stored.

The app may use third-party services that support application functionality and security.

Third-party service providers used by the app may include:

• Google Play Services

• JanParichay authentication services

• Firebase services (for notifications and diagnostics)

These services are used only to enable essential app features such as authentication, push notifications, and technical error monitoring.

Push Notifications

The Nammude Keralam app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send service-related notifications, alerts, and important updates.

Firebase may process device identifiers such as notification tokens solely for the purpose of delivering push notifications. These identifiers are not used to personally identify users and are not used for advertising or tracking.

Users can enable or disable notifications at any time through their device settings.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app or for performance monitoring, certain data and information (through authorized third-party tools) may be collected on your device, referred to as Log Data.

This Log Data may include:

• Device Internet Protocol (IP) address

• Device name

• Operating system version

• App configuration during service usage

• Time and date of use

• Diagnostic and usage statistics

This data is used only by IT Mission Kerala and its authorized service providers for:

• Application diagnostics
